We at Paralos Irini Mare believe that a green future is the only way forward.

We are eco-conscious and strive for innovative sustainable practices in our everyday operations. Our heritage, land, and culture inspire and show us the way to a sustainable future.

Our core practices evolve around reducing waste, saving water and energy, using smart technology, collaborating with green manufacturers, supporting local farmers and producers, shopping from nearby growers and providers, and taking green initiatives in every possible asset of our operations and management.

One of our main priorities is crafting sustainable experiences and taking a holistic approach to the well-being of our guests preserving the culture and the authentic values of Crete.

Supporting the local community, economy, farmers and producers is a daily commitment. This commitment creates long-lasting collaborations and empowers the meaning of belonging.

We invest and use innovative energy and water management technology. All our Junior Suites Sea View and Junior Suites Private Pool are eco-friendly constructed using solar energy sources.

We love our gardens, so we apply eco-friendly gardening routines and non-toxic practices that also protect and maintain the flora and fauna of the island.

The use of chemicals used for the sanitation of our pools is minimized by using a UV- light salt electrolysis system. On top of that, our pools are infused with magnesium

mineral, which is beneficial for the skin, muscles, hair and overall wellness of our guests.

Recycling has always been an integral part of Paralos Irini Mare environmental awareness. We aim to go zero-waste in the near future.

We are very proud of our Green Key Certification Award for our environmentally sustainable practices.
